Welcome Nature

Many factors are involved in creating a good learning environment in the science classroom and laboratory. The teacher will have a caring and understanding attitude, but most important is the students own responsibility in the learning process. In order for your child to be successful, I have created this page so that you can monitor your child's progress. Listed below are the Students Responsibilities in the Earth Science classroom:

  1. Come to class on time; LATENESS IS INEXCUSABLE.
  2. EVERYDAY, bring your notebook, pens and pencils and any additional materials that are required.
  3. Have appropriate dress.
  4. Contribute to the learning environment with mutual respect.
  5. Participate in the lesson, take all notes and be involved in the questions and answers being offered by your teacher and classmates. PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS WHEN YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND.
  6. Complete all assignments.
  7. Prepare for exams and quizzes by reviewing and studying your notes on a daily basis.

In this unit we will be studying Earth's History. Work with your child to complete the scavenger hunt!

Print the worksheets and answer the questions in the spaces provided.

Have fun!
